| Abstract: Education, considered a fundamental right and a lever of human development, aims at the full flourishing of individuals as well as access to other essential rights such as health, security, and social participation. However, its effectiveness can be affected by various socio-economic and cultural factors, including the frequent mobility of students. In Madagascar, educational institutions face significant difficulties in supporting these mobile students due to the absence of inter-school monitoring systems and a lack of appropriate resources. This situation may influence the sustainable integration of these students into the school community. This raises the issue of the extent to which school mobility impacts students’ socialization processes and their integration into different school communities. Based on the hypothesis that frequently mobile students develop specific socialization mechanisms but experience difficult and temporary school integration, this study uses a mixed methodological approach combining documentary review, semi-structured interviews with teachers from Lycée JJ Rabearivelo, and a questionnaire survey of 300 students. The aim is to deepen understanding of the effects of school mobility in order to improve educational policies and support systems for mobile students. |
